ACW stands for Anglican Church Women but it could more fittingly be called Active Church Women.  One of the busiest groups at Christ Church. In the forefront of fund-raising activities – for church projects and for the broader community, such as Matthew House. Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund and Glanbrook Food Bank.

 

Typical events during a normal year: Plant/Book/Bake Sale, Penny Sale, Fall Bazaar, Christmas Bazaar, etc.

 

And very popular events involving food: Strawberry Social Tea, Ham & Scallopped Potato Supper, Roast Beef Supper, Corn & Hot Dog Roast, etc. 

 

All these events welcome the wider community. We invite people in, show the enthusiasm and love of fellowship at Christ Church. It is another important form of Outreach. Maybe they will join us.
