Glanbrook Food Bank
Glanbrook Food Bank is Christ Church’s primary outreach activity. It is located on church premises and staffed by members of the parish.
We receive generous food donations from local businesses (Home Hardware, FreshCo), service organizations (Lions Club, Binbrook Agricultural Society, Binbrook Scouts, etc.) and local Fire-Fighters Hall, as well as from other local churches and hundreds of good-spirited individuals in the surrounding community.
We in turn support organizations like Neighbour to Neighbour – by donating any excess food.
Statistics can be made available, e.g. number of families served, total food bank visits, total volunteer hours given, etc.
